The easiest way to find out how much you pay for electricity (and how much electricity you use per month) is to take a look at your recent utility electricity bill.

If you can afford to pay your electricity bill you can afford to go solar. There is no money out-of-pocket required as long as you qualify for our solar financing! The monthly payment for your solar system is going to be LESS than your current utility bill.

One of the first steps of the solar process involves us sending one of our professional technicians to your home to perform an in-person inspection to assess the suitability of your roof for panels. If repair or replacement is recommended, we can typically roll that cost into the solar financing!

Studies show that homes with owned solar panels are selling for 4% more than those without. Whether or not an appraiser factors in that additional value or not, there is much to be said about the desirability factor that a home with solar presents to the marketplace. Buyers have to inherit a power bill no matter what…To be able to inherit a solar payment that doesn’t increase and eventually disappears sounds a lot more attractive that inheriting an ever-growing utility bill right?

Obviously your panels prefer a sunny day over a cloudy one. However, it is comforting to know that when we calculate the power production estimates for your solar proposal, we are using many years of compiled weather data to give us a very accurate idea of how many “sun hours” your panels will experience. Because we are already factoring in the number of rainy and cloudy days, the numbers all work out.

There is a federal investment tax credit (ITC) for solar energy systems in place until December 31st, 2023. Currently that tax credit is in the amount of 30% of the total cost of your system. Some states and utilities have their own incentives that are added on top of the federal credit.

A typical solar system has a useful lifespan of 25 to 30 years, depending on the local environment and the durability of the system. After this time period, your solar panels will continue to generate electricity but at a lower efficiency.

Solar systems are virtually maintenance-free, thanks to the fact that there are no moving parts in the entire system. We include a monitoring system that allows you to view the status and production of your system via an app on your smartphone so you always know that your panels are doing what they should be doing! All of our different solar options include at minimum a 25 year manufacturer’s warranty on the panels themselves.
